Bilecik Clock Tower & Living City Museum

History and Visitor Experience

Built in 1907 by Musa Kazım Bey, the Mutasarrıf of Ertuğrul, Bilecik Clock Tower is one of the city's notable historical landmarks. Standing approximately 15 metres high, the tower represents the tradition of clock towers that became increasingly common in Ottoman cities.

Located near the Clock Tower, the Living City Museum offers visitors an opportunity to discover Bilecik's traditional way of life, cultural heritage, handicrafts and social history.
