History and Visitor Experience

Located between the districts of Yenipazar and İnhisar in Bilecik, Harmankaya Canyon Nature Park is one of the region's notable outdoor destinations, known for its dramatic canyon landscape and natural scenery. Declared a nature park in 2012, the area features forests, high rock walls, waterfalls and a striking natural landscape.

The canyon route is approximately 3 kilometres long, while the canyon walls rise between around 300 and 600 metres in some sections. Several waterfalls, including waterfalls exceeding 20 metres in height, can be found within the canyon. The area is particularly attractive for hiking, trekking, nature photography and, for experienced visitors, canyoning.

The canyon entrance can be reached via Karahasanlar Village on the Yenipazar side, while the route exits toward Harmanköy in İnhisar. Due to the natural terrain and conditions of the canyon, visitors planning outdoor activities should take appropriate equipment and safety precautions into consideration.

Located approximately 55 km from Ramada by Wyndham Bilecik, Harmankaya Canyon offers an excellent day-trip option for guests who want to add a nature and outdoor adventure to their Bilecik itinerary.
